TVW Fuel Trucks facilitates Veenema Olie

Veenema Olie, based in Sneek in the north of the Netherlands, was looking for an addition to its existing fleet. Co-owner Harold Veenema came into contact with TVW Fuel Truck during his search and found a Volvo tanker that perfectly matched his wishes.

Veenema Olie is a specialist in fuel, chemicals, gas, and lubricants. The company also owns four filling stations in Friesland. “We supply chemicals, fuels, lubricants, and fats to a variety of customers both nationally and internationally. The quantities transported vary enormously,” says manager Harold Veenema. “That’s why we’ve tailored our fleet to the various needs. One moment, we’ll be delivering 40 cubic metres of oil to a petrol station, and the next, we’ll be bringing a small quantity of 500 litres to a farm.”

Reliable service

During the Covid crisis, Veenema Olie had to look for an additional vehicle that could reach smaller retailers efficiently. “The waiting times for new trucks were getting long and we were looking for a short-term solution,” says Harold Veenema. “I was referred to TVW Fuel Trucks by our trade association. Then it all went very smoothly.”

TVW’s team quickly came up with a solution: a four-axle truck from 2016 that had very low mileage and perfectly matched the desired capacity and dimensions. “It’s as good as new and works great,” says Harold Veenema. “TVW’s professional service is also very good. They gave us expert explanations and fulfilled their agreements, including the things we had discussed verbally. That made them very reliable.”
